New agreement between «Kazpost» and National Postal Service of China to essentially save Kazakhstanis' budget
Bagdad Musin, Chairman of the Board of «Kazpost» JSC visited China to discuss a number of issues with the representatives of the national postal service of the People's Republic of China (PRC).
At this meeting, as part of a strategy to improve the service of postal services, special attention was paid to reduce the price and delivery time for e-commerce users – Kazakhstani who make purchases in online stores of PRC.
During the meeting, the Chairman of the Board of JSC «Kazpost» noted the growing level of cooperation between the two countries in the field of postal services. However, he repeatedly stressed the importance of expanding the existing capacity to shorten the delivery of postal items and improve the conditions for Kazakhstanis who actively use the services of PRC online stores.
In addition, mutually beneficial cooperation in the use of transit potential of Kazakhstan for delivery to other countries goods ordered on the internet resources of China has been also discussed.
The final topic of the meeting was the opening of international postal exchange and construction of the terminal in the territory of JSC «International Centre of Boundary Cooperation «Khorgos», which will allow online stores to open warehouses and take the goods ordered over the Internet on the territory of ICBC «Khorgos».
The international postal exchange point was opened at the airport of Almaty in 2014. This allowed to make processing of international mail at the airport and reduce the delivery time, including transit mail at least for one day.

It is member of the Universal Postal Union, the principal member of international payment systems VISA International and MasterCard Worldwide. The sole shareholder of the company is «Samruk-Kazyna» JSC.
