JSC NC «KazMunayGas»: development of internal communications system

On October 13-15, 2014, training workshops on «Mediation in the social and labor relations» and «Mediative competence for managers” involving 60 managers, employees of subsidiaries and affiliates of JSC NC «KazMunayGas», responsible for social and labor issues in enterprises of KMG took place in Astana and Atyrau.

These activities are aimed at the development of the internal communications system for «KazMunayGas» group of companies and carried out as part of the national policy to create a favorable climate in the workforce of subsidiaries. During the workshops, it was noted that mediation is a method of dispute resolution involving mediator who helps the parties to establish the communication process and analyze the conflict situation so that they could choose the solution that would satisfy the interests and needs of the parties to the conflict.

The training workshop is one of the effective tools for implementation of internal communications system in the workforce of KMG, as they create for negotiations, promoting conflict-free communication and interaction, maintaining effective communications with the conflicting parties, etc.

The training program also includes the implementation of legislation and implementation of state programs in the field of mediation.

Trainers – mediators of the Single Center for Mediation and Peacemaking «Mediation» were invited to the event. Following the training, all participants received certificates.

JSC «National Company» KazMunayGas»- is Kazakhstan's national operator for exploration, production, refining and transportation of hydrocarbons. 100 percent of the shares of JSC NC «KazMunayGas» belongs to JSC «National Wealth Fund «Samruk-Kazyna».
