The anti-crisis measures adopted by Samruk-Kazyna JSC allowed to maintain the continuous activity of the Fund's portfolio companies. This was stated by Akhmetzhan Yessimov, CEO of the Fund, during a government meeting with the participation of Askar Mamin, Prime Minister of KZ.
According to Akhmetzhan Yessimov, despite the fact that the current situation makes significant adjustments to the plans and volumes of production, timely measures taken allow companies to function normally during the crisis period.
“Particular attention is paid to the preservation of jobs. The group of companies employs more than 307 thousand people. The Fund takes maximum measures to mitigate the negative impact on the group of companies. The current situation will significantly affect the financial stability of our companies. Therefore, we are doing a lot of work to optimize operating and other expenses that do not directly affect production processes”,- A. Yessimov said.
The CEO of Samruk-Kazyna JSC also announced the performance indicators of portfolio companies based on the results of the 1st quarter of 2020, which were achieved as a result of the implementation of anti-crisis measures.
