Сo-chaired by Samruk-Kazyna CEO Almassadam Satkaliyev and the UK Prime Minister's Trade Envoy to Kazakhstan Baroness Nicholson.

Samruk-Kazyna and ARQ signed a memorandum of cooperation before the Council meeting. According to ARQ CEO Julian McIntyre, British investors are interested in recycling coal ash in Kazakhstan. Coal ash will be processed into fuel powder, mixing with petroleum products and eventually producing environmentally friendly fuel for ships. ARQ has agreements with the largest trader for the marketing of products on international markets. 

The Kazakh-British Business Council marking the 30th anniversary of Independent of Kazakhstan, was attended by representatives of the Kazakh and British business community and the international investors. In close to United Nations Climate Change Conference, COP26, the meeting focused on sustainable development and achieving carbon neutrality by 2060.
