The Dutch electronic auction for the sale of 100% stakes in «Bas-Balkhash 2004» LLP, «MAK-Ekibastuz» LLP, «Centre of transport services» JSC, «Magistral Kyzmeti» LLP as well as 90% stake in the authorized capital of «Regional forward logistics» did not take place on the planned date. The auction had to be cancelled because the number of participants registered for it was less than two at the time of bidding. Due to similar reason, the first auction for the sale of 78.47% stake in the authorized capital of «Kazakhstan Wagon Manufacturing Company» LLP also did not take place.

 The English electronic auction for the sale of 51% stake in the authorized capital of “Temir Zhol Electrification” LLP also did not take place because of the lack of participants in the bidding

The assets of «NC» Kazakhstan Temir Zholy» JSC are: «Bas-Balkhash 2004» LLP, «MAK-Ekibastuz» LLP, «Centre of transport services» JSC, «Magistral Kyzmeti” LLP,  90% stake in the authorized capital of «Regional forward Logistics”,  51% stake in the authorized capital “Temir Zhol Electrification” LLP and 78.47% stake in the authorized capital of Kazakhstan Wagon Manufacturing Company» LLP.

The starting price for the bidding were:  for «Bas-Balkhash 2004» LLP – KZT 157 672 000, «MAK-Ekibastuz» LLP – KZT 311 258 000, «Center of transport services» JSC – KZT 3 548 544 000, «Magistral Kyzmeti» LLP- KZT 350 261 000,  for 90% stake in the authorized capital of «Regional forward logistics» –KZT  853 691 000, 78.47% stake in the authorized capital of “Kazakhstan Wagon Manufacturing Company» LLP – KZT 2 973 438 000, and for 51% stake in «Temir Zhol Electrification” LLP- KZT 40 529 000.

«Bas-Balkhash 2004» LLP carries out the repair and maintenance of rolling stock. It is located in Karaganda region.

«MAK-Ekibastuz» LLP repairs rolling stock equipment, and manufactures spare parts. The enterprise is located in Pavlodar region.

“Center of transport services” JSC provides freight forwarding services. It is located in Astana.

“Magistral – Kyzmeti” LLP provides afforestation services to protect the railway facilities from adverse consequences of natural hazards. The enterprise is located in Astana. 

«KazElektroPrivod» LLP produces automated turnouts. It is located in Almaty.

“Regional Forward Logistics” provides freight forwarding services. It is located in Moscow.

“Temir Zhol Electrification” LLP works to develop railway electrification infrastructure. The enterprise is located in Astana.

“Kazakhstan Wagon Manufacturing Company» LLP manufactures freight wagons. It is located in the Pavlodar region.

It should be noted that the English electronic auctions for the sale of «Bas-Balkhash 2004» LLP, «MAK-Ekibastuz» LLP, «Centre of transport services» JSC, «Magistral Kyzmeti” LLP and auctions for sale of 90% stake in the authorized capital of » Regional forward logistics» scheduled for October 19 also had to be cancelled because of insufficient number of participants in the auction process.
