The Board of Directors and Management Board of the Fund have adopted a zero-tolerance policy for corruption in any form. Within the framework of leadership in this area, the Fund is creating tools aimed at preventing illegal actions among employees of the entire group of companies: approval of the Code of Conduct and Anti-Corruption Policy, establishment of anti-corruption compliance services, functioning of the centralized Hotline which provides an opportunity to anonymously report any information about corruption and other violations.
The Fund’s image depends on each of its employees. Our task is to demonstrate high standards of ethics and rejection of corruption in relations with counterparties, public authorities and, of course, among ourselves. In accordance with the Regulations on Compliance Service of “Samruk-Kazyna” JSC, the Compliance Service is an independent structural subdivision, organizationally and functionally accountable to the Board of Directors of “Samruk-Kazyna” JSC.
Its main purpose is implementation of the Compliance Program, identification of anti-corruption policy, as well as monitoring the implementation of anti-corruption measures, including the assessment of corruption risks in “Samruk-Kazyna” JSC and its subsidiaries and affiliates.
One of the most important elements of the compliance program, which aims to prevent corruption, is the identification and assessment of corruption risks. The Fund periodically auditsexisting processes to identify conditions for committing corruption offenses. Based on the results of the internal analysis of corruption risks conducted in April – May 2021, the Fund has developed measures aimed to further develop the controlled environment to combat corruption.
This function ensures that the company's internal procedures comply with international standards. First of all, this concerns the fight against corruption based on the best international practices.

Code of Conduct of «Samruk-Kazyna» JSC

The Fund's Code of Conduct replaced the outdated Code of Business Ethics. The Code of Conduct is a more comprehensive document and in addition to ethical standards, it includes employee standards of conduct and responsibilities, questions and answers, and explanations.
This risk-oriented document was developed on the basis of an internal assessment of compliance risks and in accordance with the principles of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) on combating bribery.
