More than 1200 social actions with the participation of employees of the Samruk-Kazyna group of companies were held in 2020. The Fund announced the results of the Year of Volunteers and the results of the Best Volunteer competition.

Recall that in order to develop volunteering, the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, declared 2020 the Year of the Volunteer.

So, within the framework of the competition "Uzdik volunteer" the winners were determined in the nominations: "The best corporate volunteer", "The best volunteer team" and "The best volunteer project".

In total, 87 volunteer initiatives from employees of the Fund's group of companies were considered. Among them, 13 projects made it to the final.

So, in the nomination "Best corporate volunteer" 1st place was taken by "Ozen Munay Service" Seydov Orynbasar, he installed 93 ramps, provided food baskets for more than 50 poor families, during the pandemic distributed more than 2000 masks, provided medical workers with hot food and much more.

In the nomination "The best volunteer project" the 1st place was taken by "Ozen Munay Gas" Adil Suyebay, he organized the treatment of 770 children with cerebral palsy and autism.

The nomination "The best volunteer team" was awarded to the employees of JSC KazTransOil. During the period of emergency, employees delivered humanitarian aid to orphanages and resource centers, a center for resocialization of people in a difficult life situation in the city of Atyrau, a crisis center for women victims of domestic violence in the Atyrau region, and so on.

The winners were awarded valuable gifts and prizes.

“The results of our good deeds and the victory in the competition have proved to us that young workers, along with public associations and state organizations, can be active in such areas as environmental protection, charity, and promotion of a healthy lifestyle. The year of the volunteer not only rallied us, but also strengthened the corporate spirit, ”said Altyngul Shakimova, OHS Engineer, Atyrau Oil Pipeline Department of KazTransOil JSC.

It should be noted that the SK Volunteer League of volunteers operates in the Samruk-Kazyna group of companies, which unites all caring employees of the group of companies.
