The recruitment of interns to the Samruk-Kazyna’s group of companies has started under the Digital Summer program. Kazakhstani students of the third or fourth years of bachelor's and first-second courses of master's programs of domestic and foreign universities can take a three-month summer internship in the portfolio companies of the Fund. Applications are accepted until March 31, 2021 on the official website of the digital-summer.sk.kz program.

Dauren Kereybayev, Managing Director for Digitalization and Transformation of «Samruk-Kazyna» JSC, spoke about the features of the fourth wave of the Digital Summer program at a press briefing.

According to him, this year, HR- specialists, financiers, economists and representatives of technical professions can participate in a unique program that has no analogues in the CIS, not only future IT specialists.

Interns will have the opportunity to gain experience in the companies of the Samruk-Kazyna’s group in Almaty and Astana: NC KazMunayGas JSC, NC Kazakstan Temir Zholy JSC, Kazpost JSC, Samruk-Energy JSC, Kazakhtelecom JSC,  KEGOC JSC, Air Astana JSC, NAC Kazatomprom JSC, QazCloud LLP etc.

Each program participant is assigned an individual mentor. During the internship, a monthly stipend of KZT 50,000 is provided.

Digital Summer  helps young talents to undergo an internship to test their capabilities, to make a feasible contribution to the implementation of projects of large companies in the country, to study, and to find a job”,- Dauren Kereybayev said.

Recall that the Digital Summer program was launched in 2018 to involve young professionals in digitalization and transformation projects in the Fund's group of companies. The program is becoming more and more popular among students: in 2018, 500 applications were submitted for participation, and in 2020 - 4.5 times more. Over the past three years, 54 graduates of the program have received job offers from companies of the Fund's group.
