Nursultan Nazarbayev noted that the work of "Samruk-Kazyna" JSC led by Akhmetzhan Yessimov has reached a qualitatively new level with the Fund being included in the 20 frontrunner sovereign wealth funds (SWFs) of the UNCTAD sustainable investment report.

The Chairman of the National Fund Governance Board mentioned it was Akhmetzhan Yessimov's high level of responsibility and considerable experience that ensured the good performance of the Fund. The point was also made that Akmetzhan Yessimov has dealt equally efficiently with the tasks assigned to him at other important positions in the government.

In his turn, Akhmetzhan Yessimov thanked Nursultan Nazarbayev for the confidence placed in him and emphasized that the progress achieved by the Fund represents the very small part of the country’s overall success associated with the policy put forward by the First President to ensure nation's prosperity and well-being of its citizens.
