During the meeting, Nursultan Nazarbayev was provided with information on the results of the work of the "Samruk-Kazyna" for the past year and the first quarter of 2021, as well as on the progress in the execution of instructions given at the meetings of the "Samruk-Kazyna" Fund Management Board.

"Samruk-Kazyna" Fund has successfully completed the last year. The Fund's companies ended 2020 without significant staff cuts, while maintaining a continuous production process. At the end of 2020, the value of the Fund's assets reached 13.9 trillion tenge”,- Nursultan Nazarbayev said.

A. Satkaliyev informed Elbasy about the activities of transforming the Fund into an investment holding and key priorities for the coming years.

The First President of Kazakhstan noted that the Fund is the national wealth of Kazakhstan. So that, it is necessary to continue working to increase its assets for the benefit of the entire people.

"In a short time, the Fund managed to reorganize itself and take prompt measures. Strategic key industries are working fine. In 2020, the Fund allocated KZT870 billion to the state budget",- Nursultan Nazarbayev said.

Elbasy also stressed the importance of taking concrete measures to further improve the efficiency of the Fund's companies.

At the end of the meeting, the Chairman of the National Fund Management Board gave a number of specific instructions and wished A. Satkaliyev fruitful and successful work.
