The Governor of the Turkestan region and "Samruk Kazyna" JSC CEO discussed joint projects on the socio-economic development of the region. 
Currently, the portfolio companies of the "Samruk Kazyna" Group are implementing a number of projects in the field of gasification, electric power, e-commerce, postal services, information and communication infrastructure. 

Special attention is paid to the development of the social sphere. Among the upcoming joint initiatives, they discussed the possibilities of equipping a resource cabinet to support inclusion, the construction of multifunctional sports complexes, the construction of the Turkestan-Shymkent-Tashkent high-speed railway and a number of other projects. 
According to the head of the region, the "Samruk-Kazyna" Fund has provided the construction of several important socially significant facilities in Turkestan. 

"As part of the order of the First President of the country - Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev, the Fund has made a huge contribution to the development of the spiritual capital of the country," said Umirzak Shukeyev.

Last year, the "Samruk Kazyna" donated five socially significant objects to the akimat of the region: the museum of H. A. Yassawi, a stadium for 7000 seats, the Palace of Schoolchildren, a Congress Hall and the building of the regional branch of Kazpost JSC. 
In 2019, the Fund's group of companies took an active part in the restoration of the city of Arys. 68 social infrastructure facilities were repaired and built, including 16 schools, 36 kindergartens, 8 health facilities, 4 sports facilities, a college, a railway station, an alley of fame and a central square.
