Samruk-Kazyna and the Korean Association of International Trade Had Signed a Memorandum on Cooperation

The management of Samruk-Kazyna has arrived in Seoul, South Korea, as part of the Kazakhstan delegation.

The summit talk was held during the official visit in Seoul, South Korea, of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kazakhstan, at the invitation of President Moon Jae-in. 

The heads of state discussed in detail the prospects of further development of the Kazakh-South Korean strategic partnership.

The outcome of this meeting was the signing of some bilateral agreements, including a memorandum on cooperation between the Fund and the Korea International Trade Association (KITA)

Samruk-Kazyna CEO Almassadam Satkaliyev noted that the Korean International Trade Association (KITA) accession into the Kazakh-South Korean Business Council provided a new impetus to bilateral cooperation between the Kazakh and South Korean business communities.

The management of the Found also expressed its gratitude to Christopher Koo, Chairman of KITA, for organizing the visit, during which Kazakh companies and corporations of the Republic of Korea were planning to sign commercial contracts. 

In addition, "Samruk-Kazyna" JSC and KITA have identified the main areas for cooperation, including oil and gas, mining, nuclear industry, IT solutions, and telecommunications, in line with the global sustainable development agenda.
