S&P Global Ratings Revised the Outlook on Samruk-Kazyna JSC’s Rating from “Negative” to “Stable”

S&P Global Ratings has recently revised the outlook on the rating of Samruk-Kazyna JSC (hereinafter - the Fund) from “Negative” to “Stable”, which aligns with the long–term sovereign rating of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and also confirmed the long-term and short-term ratings of the Fund at the level of “BBB-/Stable/A-3”.
According to the analysts of the agency, S&P Global continues to view the Fundas a national management holding company and as an institution entrusted with the implementation of key government policies.
The revision of the outlook on the rating, according to S&P Global Ratings, reflects its view that Kazakhstan’s fiscal and external balance sheets will remain stable.
