Today, on the sidelines of the Kazakh-German Business Forum, Nurlan Zhakupov, the Chief Executive Officer of Samruk-Kazyna JSC, held a meeting with Mr. Niko Varbanoff, the Director for International Development of Deutsche Bahn AG, General Directorof DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH.  

The parties discussed issues of cooperation in the field of passenger transportation and development of the transport and logistics complex, as well as prospects for further joint activities in the field of transport and logistics.

As part of the state visit of the President of Germany to Kazakhstan between KTZh and DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH (a subsidiary of Deutsche Bahn) signed an agreement on development of partnership in the field of passenger transportation and transport and logistics, the subject of which is to improve the efficiency of passenger transportation and support in the process of transformation of KTZh into a national transport and logistics company.
