​Today, the management of Samruk-Kazyna held a meeting with Mr. Olivier Lazar, the Managing Director of North Caspian Operating Company.

The parties discussed the current state of affairs at the enterprise and the steps of future growth of the North Caspian project.

NCOC is implementing projects aimed at further increasing oil production at the Kashagan field.  

For processing Kashagan gas, JSC NC QazaqGaz is building now a gas processing plant with a capacity of 1 billion m3/year, which will increase oil production at the field due to the processing of crude gas at the gas processing plant. The project is scheduled to complete in 2025.

Various options for implementation of projects aimed at increasing oil production and gas processing were also discussed.
