Today the Fund’s management has held the meeting with Derek Magness, the Managing Director of the Eurasian Division of Chevron Corporation, at the office of Samruk-Kazyna.

The CEO of the Fund has noted that over 30 years of strategic partnership, Chevron made a significant contribution to the development of the economy of Kazakhstan.

Major joint projects in the field of oil and gas are being implemented in cooperation of Chevron, such as the Tengiz project, Karachaganak project, and Caspian Pipeline Consortium.

The parties also discussed prospects for cooperation with Chevron on oil projects, as well as potential projects with Chevron Direct Investment Fund.
