The Chairman of the Management Board of Samruk-Kazyna Nurlan Zhakupov and Vice President of China Power International Holding Renaguli Tuerdi discussed the status of the Project for the Construction of a 1 GW Wind Farm with an Energy Storage System.

The corresponding roadmap - the calendar plan - was adopted within the framework of the Astana International Forum in June of this year.

On May 18 this year during the visit to China Samruk-Kazyna Fund, CPIH, SANY Renewable Energy Co.Ltd and the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan has signed the Memorandum of Understanding.
