Today the management of the Fund held a meeting with the Managing Director of Agip Caspian Sea B.V. Matteo Tisi and Managing Director of Agip Karachaganak B.V. Renato Maroli.

At the meeting it was noted that Eni is a long-time reliable strategic partner in the Oil & Gas and energy industries in Kazakhstan.

The parties discussed the status of the various activities of Eni in Kazakhstan and noted the importance of valorizing the resources of both Kashagan and Karachaganak fields.

Projects in renewable energy sources were also discussed.

The Company owns:

•​16,81% - within the framework of the Northern Caspian Sea Production Sharing Agreement (NCSPSA), which includes the Kashagan field;

•​29,25% - within the framework of the Final Production Sharing Agreement (FPSA), which includes the Karachaganak field;

• 50%  - within the framework of Isatay Operating Company for exploration activities in the North Caspian Sea

•​2% - in the Caspian Pipeline Consortium.
