Beijing hosted the CEO Conference. It is a large-scale, inclusive and open high-level platform for strengthening practical cooperation between companies. The delegation of Samruk-Kazyna that was represented by Mrs. Saltanat Satzhan, the Managing Director for Development and Privatization of the Fund, as well as Chief Executive Officers of Portfolio Companies, Samruk-Energy and QazaqGaz, attended the event. 

Within the framework of the conference, Samruk-Kazyna and China Power International Holding signed the Joint Development Agreement on implementation of a project for the construction of a 1 GW wind power station. This document consolidated the early agreements of the parties and is aimed at achieving carbon neutrality of the country. In addition, the project is high-tech one due to the use of innovative energy storage systems for Kazakhstan. In addition, on the sidelines of the CEO Conference, a meeting was held with Bank of China, where a loan agreement was signed for financingconstruction of a gas processing plant at the Kashagan field.
