The Head of the Samruk-Kazyna Fund to Get Acquainted with the Results of Work of QazaqGaz for 2023

The Chairman of the Management Board of Samruk-Kazyna JSC Nurlan Zhakupov held a meeting at QazaqGaz, where he heard a report on the company’s performance in 2023 and plans for 2024.
In addition, Nurlan Zhakupov got acquainted with the work of the Unified Dispatch Center of the national gas company.
With the support of the Government and the Samruk-Kazyna Fund, QazaqGaz has implemented projects important for the country's energy security over the past year.
To ensure stable gas supply to the west of Kazakhstan, the Sarshaand Warm Beach gasification projects have been completed.
The looping of the Makat-North Caucasus main gas pipeline (looping pipeline laid parallel to the main one to expand capacity) and the second line Beineu-Zhanaozen were also built.
The overhaul of 3 strands of the Zhanaozen-Aktau gas pipeline in the Mangystau region has been completed.
In addition, the first stage of construction of the gas infrastructure for the Almaty energy complex has been completed (for the conversion of Almaty CHP plants to gas).
In 2023, 107 settlements were connected to the gas supply system,as a result, more than 206 thousand people received access to gas use.

The UDC manages the unified commercial gas supply system and the operating mode of the gas transportation system (GTS) facilities around the clock through the dispatching services of subsidiaries.
The UDC also interacts with the dispatch services of the GTS of neighboring countries (Gazprom, Uztransgaz, Turkmengaz, Gazprom-Kyrgyzstan, Trans-Asia Gas Pipeline - PRC).
