Kazakhstan, China and Russia to Build a New Transport and Logistics Hub in the Moscow Region in 2025

Nurlan Zhakupov, the Chairman of the Management Board of Samruk-Kazyna JSC has signed an agreement on the development of a transport and logistics center at the Selyatino station with Andrey Vorobyov, the Governor of the Moscow region, and Nurlan Sauranbayev, the Chairman of the Management Board of JSC NC KTZh.

The agreement was signed within the framework of the XXVII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

The construction of such significant project will provide a number of advantages in transshipment and handling of goods, including Kazakhstani goods consignors. The range of logistics and terminal services rendered will be expanded, and delivery time will be reduced.

The Chinese logistics company Xian Free Trade Port Construction and Operation Co.,Ltd will also participate in the project on creating the center. Russia and China are strategic partners of Kazakhstan, including in terms of exports.

The key logistics hub will contribute to the development of direct transport links between the Kazakh-Chinese terminal in Xi’an, Russia and other countries.
