The Subsidiary of QazaqGaz JSC to Allocate KZT1 billion for Restoration of Regions Affected by Floods

Samruk-Kazyna continues to take measures to eliminate the consequences of the natural disaster. Earlier, KZT22 billion was allocated on behalf of the group of companies to help the regions, including KZT7 billion was allocated for restoration of the infrastructure of Kulsary, the most affected one in Atyrau region.
Additional funds are received from partners and subsidiaries of portfolio companies of the Fund. Today, the subsidiary of QazaqGaz JSC - Asian Gas Pipeline LLP - allocated KZT1 billion to the Samruk-Kazyna Trust fund. In accordance with the decision of the Board of Trustees, these funds will be used to implement social projects in the affected regions.
The Asian Gas Pipeline is a joint venture of Kazakhstan and China. The company provides transit of Turkmeni and Uzbeki gas to China, export of Kazakhstani gas to China, as well as uninterrupted gas supply to the southern regions of Kazakhstan.
Earlier, another subsidiary of QazaqGaz JSC - QAZAQGAZ AIMAQ JSC transferred KZT9.2 million as part of the charity marathon “Charity Samruk Marathon 2024” aimed at supporting special children. At the moment, Samruk-Kazyna Trust has received KZT1.4 billion from partners and subsidiaries of portfolio enterprises of the Fund.
