Kazpost JSC presented a stamp dedicated to the 15th anniversary of Samruk-Kazyna JSC from the series “State Policy”. The stamp cancellation ceremony was held with participation of the Head of the Fund Nurlan Zhakupov and the Chairman of the Management Board of Kazpost JSC Assel Zhanasova.

The stamp is made based on the Saks ornaments, symbolizing the historical traditions of Kazakhstan. Its center is decorated with the logo of Samruk-Kazyna JSC with the mythical bird Samruk, symbolyzing life, strength and rebirth.

The designer of the stamp sought to emphasize that Samruk-Kazyna JSC is the “heart” of the national economy of Kazakhstan, from which strategic companies circulate as “arteries of life”.

Samruk-Kazyna JSC is a sovereign wealth fund with assets under management exceeding $81 billion.

Portfolio companies managed by Samruk-Kazyna operate in strategically important industries such as oil and gas, transport and logistics, communications, mining, energy, chemical industry and others.

The main objective of the Fund is to increase the long-term value of portfolio companies based on the best corporate governance practices.

In addition, the Fund acts as a catalyst for stimulating FDI into the country. The Fund co-invests in major projects together with partners from China, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Italy, Qatar, France and other countries.

The total circulation of the issued stamps is 16,000 pieces, with a nominal value of KZT750. The anniversary stamp is already available in Kazpost branches.
