The parties discussed issues of deepening relations under the auspices of the Partnership for Infrastructure Investments and the possibility of scaling them up to accelerate economic development and increase energy security.

Nurlan Zhakupov noted that currently the investment portfolio of Samruk-Kazyna includes more than 130 projects totaling more than USD100 billion.

The meeting took place during the visit of Helaina Matza to Kazakhstan on July 16-18.

It should be noted that the US Global Infrastructure Partners (PGI) program is aimed at promoting the development of key infrastructure projects in developing and middle-income countries in the fields of energy, digital and information technology, gender quality and equality, as well as global health.
