Employees of the Fund took part in the Donor Day action. The importance of the event can hardly be overestimated. The task of the Center for Transfusiology is not only to replenish the blood bank, but also to increase the involvement of Kazakhstan citizens, their awareness of the need of the national health care system in safe blood and its components for transfusion, the importance of free voluntary blood donation for those who are in urgent need of it.

About 80 employees took part in the action of Samruk-Kazyna and donated about 25 liters of blood.

Potential donors filled out questionnaires, took blood tests to determine hemoglobin levels and other indicators, and were examined by a doctor. The blood sampling procedure was provided by the Fund's long-standing partners – employees of the mobile team of the Research and Production Center of Transfusiology.
