This hydroelectric power plant is located on the Irtysh River, near Serebryansk town in East Kazakhstan region.
It is part of the Irtysh HPP cascade serving as its upper, regulating stage.
The installed capacity of the plant is 675 MW, average annual output is 2.77 billion kWh
