On June 01, 2024, the Fund organized a charity race and collected KZT126.7 million. These funds were used to open 5 inclusion rooms at schools in the capital city by the beginning of the school year.

These funds were used to renovate schools, purchase equipment, furniture and materials, and train specialists.

Nurlan Zhakupov, Chairman of the Management Board of Samruk-Kazyna JSC, and Yesset Baiken, Deputy Akim of the capital city, visited one of such rooms in school No. 97.

150 children with special needs will be able to study in regular schools together with their peers, Zhakupov said.

“Under corporate social responsibility, Samruk-Kazyna JSC gives comprehensive support to people with special needs. We have opened 42 rehabilitation centers in regions of Kazakhstan, 10 sports complexes. More than 1000 children attend our adaptive sports sections. We have started training young people with disabilities in digital professions. As a result, we provide assistance to people from birth and promote their socialization in society in every possible way,” Nurlan Zhakupov said in his welcoming speech.

Classrooms consist of two separate rooms: a room for a psychologist, defectologist, speech therapist/pottery and a physical therapy room.
