Ekibastuz CHPP has successfully completed the 2024-2025 heating season, having ensured reliable operation of equipment and uninterrupted heat supply. Thanks to optimization efforts and repairs, fuel consumption was significantly reduced: fuel oil consumption decreased by 3.5 times - from 3 284 to 949 tons.

In the shortest possible time, the overhaul and current repair of 10 boiler units, turbine unit, ash dump and other infrastructure were completed.

The result was a 3.7% decrease in equipment wear and a 90% reduction in technological disturbances (from 191 to 18). No incidents affecting the reliability of heat supply were recorded during the entire season.

Samruk-Energy JSC has been managing the plant since June 2024. Preparations for the next season have already started - 11 more repairs and new improvements are to come.
