First, Samruk-Kazyna and AIQ have signed an agreement on the digital transformation of Kazakhstan's oil and gas industry.

As part of the strategic partnership, Nurlan Zhakupov, Head of Samruk-Kazyna JSC, and Sultan Al-Jaber, Chairman of the Board of Directors of AIQ, signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of digital transformation of the oil and gas sector in Kazakhstan.

The document provides for the exchange of experience, best practices and technologies in the field of artificial intelligence, digitalization of assets and autonomous operations. The parties also agreed to search jointly for opportunities to accelerate the digital transformation of Kazakhstan’s oil and gas industry and improve its efficiency.

Nurlan Zhakupov and Senior Banker of Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Chairman of the Board of Directors of subsidiary ADCB Islamic (Kazakhstan) Farooq Abdulrahman Al Marzooqi signed a memorandum of understanding.

The memorandum establishes key areas of cooperation between the Fund and ADCB in the field of financing projects in petrochemicals, transport and logistics, etc.

In addition, Samruk-Kazyna and Masdar signed a cooperation agreement to develop round-the-clock energy supply projects with a capacity of up to 500 MW and an energy storage system of up to 2000 MW in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Portfolio companies have signed agreements aimed at developing energy, digital and transport infrastructure:

•  Agreement on strategic cooperation between QazaqGaz and AIQ to develop digital solutions based on AIQ technologies;

•  Agreement on strategic cooperation on cooperation in the field of digitalization of the oil and gas industry, signed by KMG Engineering and AIQ;

• Memorandum of Understanding between JSC NC KazMunayGas and ADP on the construction and chartering of two container ships.
