Nurlan Zhakupov, Chairman of the Management Board of the Fund met with Ali Al-Janabi, Senior Vice President and Chairman of Shell in Kazakhstan, and Suzanne Coogan, Vice President of Shell for Heartland Exploration & Namibia.

The parties discussed issues of cooperation, the current state and prospects for the development of oil and gas projects.

Shell is one of the Fund’s strategic partners in the oil and gas sector. The company cooperates with the Samruk-Kazyna portfolio company KazMunayGas in the framework of the North Caspian, Karachaganak, CPC, exploration projects, etc.

In addition, the parties are also implementing social initiatives. Thus, last year, with the support of the Fund and Shell, the inclusive educational project OrleTECH 3.0 was successfully implemented, in which young people with special needs were trained in high-demand IT professions.
