The Head of Samruk-Kazyna, Nurlan Zhakupov, met with Mr. Zsombor Marton, MOL Group Executive Vice President.

The parties discussed the prospects of cooperation in the oil and gas sector.

MOL is Hungary’s largest oil and gas company. It is engaged in the exploration and production, transportation of hydrocarbons, as well as the operation of a network of main gas pipelines. It participates in the development of the Rozhkovsky gas condensate field.

In November 2024, the Fund’s portfolio company KazMunayGas NC and the MOL Group signed a cooperation agreement. The purpose of the document is to expand cooperation in the petrochemical field and joint exploration and production of hydrocarbons.
