1.​ Memorandum of Cooperation with Maire Tecnimont. The company is cooperating on two projects: the production of Silleno polyethylene and the construction of a gas separation complex. The Italian company plans to establish a regional engineering hub in Kazakhstan that will maintain a service for the CIS and Caucasus countries. The initiative is aimed at developing industrial cooperation, technology transfer, and staff training. In addition, there are plans to increase the share of local content and develop local supply chains, as well as to build up engineering and manufacturing competencies.

2. Cooperation Agreement with Ansaldo. Ansaldo Energiasupplies gas turbines as part of the modernization of Almaty CHPP-3. It is planned to increase the share of domestic content in the gas turbine equipment supply chain.

The goal is to achieve a localization level of at least 20%. Particular attention will be paid to industrial cooperation and the development of local competencies. 

The agreements were signed during the visit of Giorgia Meloni, President of the Council of Ministers of Italy.
