A memorandum on the launch of the joint project “STEM Environment for All” was signed in Astana today.
It will allow 250 women from Atyrau region, including women with disabilities and mothers of children with special needs, to complete training and receive STEM coach certificates.
“ExxonMobil is our long—standing strategic partner, and I am glad that our cooperation is reaching a new level, including social projects”, - Zhakupov said at the meeting.
The project is implemented by the CSR operator of the Group, Samruk Kazyna Trust.
A STEM coach is a specialist who teaches skills in the field of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics). The main task of a STEM coach is to develop students’ technical thinking, creativity, problem solving and teamwork skills using practical and interdisciplinary approaches.
One of the Fund’s CSR priorities is inclusion: 45 rehabilitation centers and 15 inclusive classrooms have already been opened.
