Nurlan Zhakupov, Head of the Fund, held a meeting with Dai Houliang, Chairman of the Board of Directors of CNPC.

The parties discussed the status of joint projects in the oil, gas, and energy sectors.

Zhakupov noted that the cooperation covers a number of large-scale oil and gas projects that are of key importance for the economy of Kazakhstan and the overall development of the energy sector.

CNPC is the largest oil and gas corporation in China. The company is engaged in the exploration and development of oil and gas fields.

CNPC is participating in the North Caspian project, the construction of wind farms, the modernization of the ShymkentOil Refinery, and other projects.
