During three days, 400 young athletes competed in adaptive disciplines: swimming, karate, taekwondo, football, athletics, pioneer ball, boccia, CP football, table tennis, and choreography.
Students from adaptive sports clubs from 20 regions of the country were selected to participate in the finals.
“For several years, the Fund has been supporting a project to create inclusive sports sections, and this systematic work has yielded results. To date, about 7 000 children with special needs have mastered adaptive sports,” - Nurlan Zhakupov, the Head of Samruk-Kazyna, said at the closing ceremony of the festival.
The winners received their awards at the ceremony held at Qazaqstan Athletics Complex.
The festival became a vivid stage of the important inclusive project “Salamatty Bolashak,” which is implemented with the support of the Samruk-Kazyna Trust Fund on behalf of the Samruk-Kazyna Group of Companies.
