More than 15 thousand people will be able to visit the inclusive library in the regional center for free every year.

The two-storey library with an area of 852 square meters includes: a coworking space and recreation areas, a typhlology room (teaching gadgets for the blind), a Braille room, an audio library in Kazakh and Russian, 40,000 unique copies of books.

The library is also equipped with special handrails for free access to all halls.

The project in the amount of KZT410 million was implemented by Samruk-Kazyna Trust, the Single Charity Operator of the Fund’s group of companies.

Over 5 years, Samruk-Kazyna Trust has implemented 14 social projects in the Abai region in the amount of KZT2.5 billion.
