100 Graduates of Orphanages to Employ at the Samruk-Kazyna Enterprises

As part of the Year of Vocational Professions, Samruk-Kazyna JSC is implementing the Talimger project, which aims to employ 100 graduates of orphanages and orphaned children who completed colleges in 2025.
The project covers 17 regions and 3 cities of national importance. By the end of the year, children who grew up without parental care will be employed at the enterprises of the Fund’s group of companies.
During a working trip to the Turkestan region, Gibrat Auganov, Managing Director of Samruk-Kazyna JSC, solemnly presented workbooks to the first graduates of the region.
“The first job entry is a sign that I have taken a step into adulthood. I am glad that my professional history begins in such an interesting and important production for the country”, - Alikhat Moldabek says, a graduate of the college of the Taukent village, and now an operator of geotechnological wells of the subsidiary of JSC Kazatomprom, JSC JV Akbastau.
Talimger is not only about employment. The initiative is aimed at giving young people a chance to realize themselves, gain their first professional experience in the technical field under the mentorship of experienced specialists and confidently enter an independent life”, - Gibrat Auganov said.
He also said that the Fund, together with organizations of higher and postgraduate education, is developing dual education programs. This format allows students to complete practice and internships at the leading enterprises of the Fund’s portfolio companies.
To date, memoranda and cooperation agreements have been signed with 7 colleges. In 2025, 113 students will be able to complete dual training at the Fund’s enterprises – Kazatomprom, Kazakhstan Temir Zholy, Tau-Ken Samruk, Samruk-Energy, and QazaqGaz, located in the Turkestan region.
Another cooperation agreement was signed by Kazakhtelecom JSC and Woosong University Kazakhstan, the first international branch of a Korean university opened this year in Turkestan. University students will be able to undergo dual training and practice on the basis of Kazakhtelecom, participate in projects in the field of information technology and artificial intelligence.
To consolidate the agreements reached, Samruk-Kazyna and the Akimat of the Turkestan region signed a memorandum of cooperation. The document provides for development of additional educational areas and creation of conditions for the successful professional realization of the region’s youth.
