The regular meeting of the Public Council of the Fund discussed the course of implementation of the Year of Vocational Professions by the Samruk-Kazyna companies. 

Gibrat Auganov, Managing Director of the Fund, noted that 190 000 production workers are working in the Samruk-Kazyna group of companies. This is 10% of the total number in the country.

A consistent and systematic effort is undertaken as part of the YVP in order to enhance the prestige of vocational professions.

Thus, more than 46 000 employees underwent training in various fields, and 1 800 engineers completed advanced training courses under the Bastau, Orleu and other programmes.

Programs such as Izbasar, Murager, and Alyp are available for the youth.

Over 4 000 students have completed industrial internships at actual production facilities.

Social support and career guidance programs were implemented for children left without parental care and of Samuryq Umiti and Talimger orphanages.
