During the panel session “How to Invest in Central Asia”, Nurlan Zhakupov spoke about Kazakhstan's role as a key investment destination in Central Asia and presented the approach of the Samruk-Kazyna Fund to co-investing in strategic projects.

In his speech, the Head of the Fund noted that Kazakhstan had attracted more than USD370 billion in foreign direct investment, including USD61 billion from the US, which accounts for about 60% of all investments received in the region.

He underlined that Samruk-Kazyna manages assets for over USD82 billion, implements more than 130 projects with a total value of over USD100 billion, and acts as a reliable partner for strategic investors in energy, transport, oil and gas, telecommunications, and other industries.

At the end of his speech, the Head of the Fund emphasized that Samruk-Kazyna is open to cooperation with American investors and offers reliable partnerships, transparent conditions, and long-term prospects for project development.
