Nurlan Zhakupov, Chairman of the Management Board of Samruk-Kazyna JSC, held a meeting with Hong Namkoong, President and CEO of Samsung E&A.

The parties discussed prospects for cooperation and the implementation of major industrial projects in Kazakhstan.

Nurlan Zhakupov highlighted Samsung E&A’s strong expertise in delivering complex industrial projects and emphasised Samruk-Kazyna’s readiness to support Korean companies operating in Kazakhstan, including through co-investment and partnership mechanisms.

The parties also discussed the upcoming 14th meeting of the Kazakhstan-Korea Business Council, which will be held in Seoul on September 15 as part of the President of Kazakhstan’s visit to the Republic of Korea and the first Central Asia–Republic of Korea Summit. Samruk-Kazyna serves as co-chair of the Kazakhstan-Korea Business Council.
