The Fund has established a unified data lake, SKAI Data, which consolidates information from 11 companies and around 300 production indicators. Data is received daily and used for analytics and the development of AI solutions.

More than 70 artificial intelligence projects are being implemented across the Fund’s group of companies based on SKAI Data and other digital platforms. Twenty-five projects have already been put into commercial operation, while another 24 are planned to be commissioned by the end of 2026.

AI solutions cover key production and corporate processes, including field and asset management, equipment diagnostics, safety, energy and logistics. As a result, processes are being optimised, equipment and power system reliability is being improved, downtime is being reduced, and resource efficiency is being enhanced.

More than 120 AI agents are being used across the Fund’s group of companies, including for legal advisory services, analysis of foreign exchange transactions and investment projects, production risk forecasting, and recruitment. They help process data, automate selected processes, and support decision-making.

At the same time, AI deployment is focused on delivering tangible economic results. Portfolio companies have been tasked with achieving a 5% increase in EBITDA through the use of artificial intelligence.

Another key area is employee skills development. Practical training in the use of AI, including vibe coding tools, has already been completed by 13,000 employees. This number is expected to increase to 19,000 by the end of the year.

In addition, 500 employees from the Fund’s group of companies will undergo training at Qazaq AI Research University, further strengthening their expertise in artificial intelligence.
