“Samruk-Kazyna” Fund launches a series of meetings with the media in the information session format, during which the speakers give journalists full information on the chosen topic. In the future, it is planned to organize such sessions on HR, privatization of assets, intermediate results of transformation, etc.

«By 2020, the share of growing companies in the Fund’s portfolio will increase from 5% to 11%. To date, there are six developing companies such as United Chemical Company LLP, Tau-Ken Samruk JSC, Qazaq Air JSC, Real Estate Fund Samruk-Kazyna JSC, Samruk-Kazyna Invest LLP and NC Kazakhstan Engineering JSC. The task of the New industry Development Block is to bring them to the required level of maturity and prepare for the privatization,» Со-Managing Director for New Industries Development of “Samruk-Kazyna” JSC Yerzhan Tutkushev said.



«In our portfolio we have 12 projects totaling KZT 833.7 billion: two production, four mining, six exploration,» said Mazhit Turmagambetov, CEO of «Tau-Ken Samruk» JSC.

According to him, the silicon plant «Tau-Ken Temir» in Karaganda in 2016 produced 19.5 thousand tons of silicon. The products were exported to North American market -50%, European countries-40%, Belarus and Russia-10%.

«To date, «Tau-Ken Altyn» gold refinery sold about 29 tons of gold in 12 kilograms to the National Bank. In particular, last year the company sold 12 tons. This year we plan to sell 15 tons of gold to the National Bank, » Mr Turmagambetov added.
