Chairman of the Management Board of Samruk-Kazyna JSC Akhmetzhan Yessimov held a meeting with the heads of portfolio companies. The meeting reviewed the  companies' operations, the financial condition and implementation of development programs.

The Head of the Fund introduced Kanat Kudaibergenov as the Chairman of the Management Board of Tau- Ken Samruk JSC. Kanat Kudaibergenov served as the General Director of Karatau LLP from 2016 to 2018, and worked as acting Chairman of the Management Board of Tau-Ken Samruk JSC since April 23, 2018. Kanat Kudaibergenov was given a task to streamline the organizational structure of Tau-Ken Samruk. The former Chairman of the Management Board Mazhit Turmagambetov’s employment contract was terminated and not renewed.

At the same time, Akhmetzhan Yessimov ordered to relieve K.Maksutov, Managing Director for Economics and Finance of Samruk-Energy, from his position, and to deprive of annual bonuses and reprimand for shortcomings in job A.Satkaliyev, Chairman of the Management Board of Samruk-Energy JSC.

During the meeting, Akhmetzhan Yessimov instructed to impose disciplinary actions on A. Botabekov, Managing Director for Finance and Accounting of KEGOC JSC.

In addition, the Chairman of the Management Board of the Fund instructed to fulfill planned indicators on passenger turnover, income and net profit for successful holding of IPO and to approve road maps for the implementation of the transformation program in portfolio companies.

A number of other issues of the Fund’s portfolio companies were also considered.
