SWF Samruk-Kazyna JSC group of companies has launched an internship programme Digital Summer 2018, Dauren Kereibayev, Director of Information Technology Department of Samruk-Kazyna JSC, told during the briefing. He spoke about the conditions and requirements of the programme.

"Following the results of the IT summer internship, we will select the most energetic, creative, competent ones to work in the Fund's group of companies. One of the unique features of this programme is that for today we have already agreed with all key global players in the IT industry on assistance in training of participants in many IT majors," Mr Kereibayev told.

All graduates who graduated from universities in 2016, 2017 and 2018 can apply for the Digital Summer 2018 programme on the official website of Samruk-Kazyna JSC www.sk.kz. An important criterion is the interest in IT and the desire to contribute to the IT development in the Fund companies.

The applications can be submitted from June 6 to June 30. The internship will take place from July 1 to August 31, 2018 in Astana, Almaty, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Pavlodar, Atyrau. To participate in the programme, the graduates need to visit the official website of the Fund and to get tested on the basic knowledge of IT, which consists of 10 questions. The candidates most eligible for selection will be invited for an interview with representatives of the Fund group of companies. The best candidates will receive an invitation to participate in the Internship Programme.

To participate in the internship is not necessarily to have professional experience. Basic knowledge in the field of project management, programming, administration of information systems and infrastructure, application architecture, information security principles are required. The internship is unpaid and does not include living and transport expenses

During the training programme, developed by the Fund together with the IT world leaders, interns will receive invaluable experience and knowledge that will give undoubted advantage in the competitive and dynamic IT world, as well as practical experience with SAP, Microsoft, Oracle, Cisco, HP, IBM, Huawei.

The best interns will be employed in the following Fund group of companies: NC KazMunayGas JSC, NAC Kazatomprom JSC, NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC, Kazpost JSC, JSC Samruk-Energy, Kazakhtelecom JSC, Tau-Ken Samruk JSC, KOREM JSC, Qazaq Air JSC, Energoinform JSC, Samruk-Kazyna Contract LLP and United Chemical Company LLP.
