‘Samruk-Kazyna’ JSC has launched a new recruitment of young specialists to the ‘Zhas Orken’ program

‘Samruk-Kazyna’ JSC and the Fund`s group have announced the launch of recruitment process to the ‘Zhas Orken’ program. The announcement was made today by the program manager Gulnur Zhasekenova during the program presentation at the Almaty University of Energy and Communications. She noted that there is an interest growth in the program every year and the next year the number of participants will increase up to 30 people.

“For two years already, ‘Samruk-Kazyna’ JSC has been implementing the ‘Zhas Orken’ program together with the ‘Samruk-Kazyna’ Corporate University. During these two years we have trained 40 participants, 20 of them will be graduating this year. The interest in this program is great, for example, in 2017, we have accepted 594 applications, and in 2018, this number increased up to 737. In 2019, it is planned to select 30 participants. We will be hosting the program’s presentation in 11 cities and 92 universities of the country,”- says Gulnur Zhasekenova.

It should be reminded that the young specialists training program ‘Zhas Orken’ was launched in 2017. This year it is being held for the third time under the leadership of the ‘Samruk-Kazyna’ Corporate University.

The participation in the program is granted for the bachelor or master’s degree graduates of the years 2017, 2018 and 2019. Application process will starton January 1, 2019 on the official website http://www.zhasorken.skcu.kz/

The selection consists of a multi-stage competition; after the selection, participants will be conducting orientational  training courses. The program itself will take place from September 2019 to May 2021.

It should be noted that the participation in the program is paid, participants will receive a 20-month employment contract, the program is divided into four parts, i.e. during the two years each 5 month the participant will be rotated in four companies under the direct supervision of the top management.

The best ‘Zhas Orken’ program graduates will have the opportunity to be employed in one of the portfolio companies of ‘Samruk-Kazyna’ JSC.
