‘Samruk-Kazyna’ Fund has opened 41 multipurpose sport playgrounds in Kazakhstan

Within the framework of the new charity policy, ‘Samruk-Kazyna’ JSC has opened 41 multipurpose sport playgrounds in 10 regions of Kazakhstan. The Fund has reviewed and reorganized its approach to charity provision assistance, investing most of the funds in the sustainable development of society.

It should be noted that in the years 2016 and 2017, the Fund has built 44 children's multipurpose playgrounds in order to develop social infrastructure. Children’s complexes has been opened in Akmola, Pavlodar, Mangystau, Aktobe, West Kazakhstan regions.

Children's sites include football fields, workout zones and playgrounds. Playgrounds are covered with an artificial turf, and workout areas are covered with tartan safety coating. Each complex contains elements of inclusion that allow a comfortable stay for children with special needs. Children's multipurpose playgrounds were placed at the disposal of the City Halls of each region.

It should be reminded that from February 2018, within the framework of the new charity policy, the Fund has transferred the financing of sports federations and Astana Presidential Professional Sports Club to the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Culture and Sports.

The Fund decided to focus on the implementation of social programs for human potential development, as well as the assistance in social and medical sectors.
