The main task of SWF Samruk-Kazyna JSC in the event of the second wave of COVID-19 is to prevent the shutdown of production facilities within the perimeter of the Fund group, reduce production staff and provide employees with timely payment of wages. This was stated by Almasadam Satkaliyev, managing Director for asset management and privatization of Samruk-Kazyna SWF.
​According to him, the Fund is preparing for various scenarios, including a possible second wave of the pandemic.
​"The experience gained in the midst of the pandemic showed that the Fund coped with the challenges, we managed to prevent a serious decline in the main production indicators, production stoppages or cuts in production personnel, and salaries were paid on time," A. Satkaliyev said.
​Thus, at the moment, according to A. Satkaliyev, the Fund has done work to adjust the action plans in case of a relapse of the epidemic, secured the reservation of financial resources, as well as worked out the uninterrupted supply and prompt purchase of relevant goods, works and services.

A. Satkaliyev also reminded about the measures taken during the first wave of results, the Fund has managed to avoid reductions in production personnel and stop work of the enterprises.

​At the end of the speech, A. Satkaliyev said that in preparation for a possible second wave, the Fund will continue an informational campaign among employees on compliance with preventive measures of protection against COVID-19 in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of health.
