16 October 2020
The management of the Samruk-Kazyna SWF and Zhambyl region discussed current cooperation and its future prospects in the development of the region.
It should be noted that the Samruk-Kazyna group of companies implements projects in the region in the gas, postal, information and communication, social and other sectors of the economy.
In particular, Kazakhtelecom JSC implements projects in the region to provide broadband Internet to rural localities to provide state institutions, expand cellular coverage and improve the quality of mobile services throughout the region.
In turn, Kazpost JSC implements projects for the development of e-Commerce, postal network and information and communication structure. E-Commerce centers continue to operate in the region, where representatives of SMEs are trained in the skills of creating online stores, selling and promoting goods on the domestic market.
During the meeting, the Fund invited the Zhambyl region to actively participate in the procurement of the group of companies. Examples of this already exist. So, for example, concluded a strategic partnership agreement in the procurement category "Special shoes" between the Fund and LLP "Tarazkozhobuv" allowed "Tarazkozhobuv" twice to increase the volume of production.
The Fund suggested that the regional akimat form a list of products of regional enterprises in order to work out the prospects for participation in Samruk-Kazyna purchases.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to develop a roadmap for cooperation and approve it by the end of 2020.
