33 GRADUATES OF KAZAKHSTAN UNIVERSITIES GOT A JOB IN THE GROUP OF COMPANIES OF JSC "SOVEREIGN WELFARE FUND "SAMRUK-KAZYNA»

According to the results of the Digital summer 2020 program, 36 graduates successfully completed an internship in the period from July 1 to August 28 of this year, 33 of them are considering the opportunity to work in the group of companies of the Samruk-Kazyna Fund upon completion of their studies at the University in 2021. Due to the current quarantine, the program was held in an online format.
The Digital summer program provides an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students of Kazakh Universities to complete a 2-month internship in the portfolio companies of JSC "Sovereign welfare Fund "Samruk-Kazyna", among which: "KazMunayGas", "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy", "Kazpost", "Samruk-Energo", "Kazakhtelecom" and so on. Since the launch of the project in 2018, the Fund's group of companies has employed 43 young professionals.
So, this year, trainees actively participated in such major projects as the project to develop an application and chatbot for the number of infections in subsidiaries of JSC "NC "KTZ", the project "SE Monitoring" for automating the process of energy production load in JSC "Samruk-Energo", as well as in the development of the event "oilman's Day" in LLP "Kazakhoil Aktobe".
By the way, each participant was assigned an individual mentor from among the employees of the companies.
In turn, the project team held the annual Hackathon "Summer HACK 2020" online based on the results of the internship. During the Hackathon, all technical capabilities were used, starting from the use of online platforms, ending with online mentoring of each of the teams. Thus, the participants solved real business problems from the group of companies Of the Fund "Samruk-Kazyna".
Recall that the CEO of the Fund Akhmetzhan Yessimov gave a positive assessment of the program "Digital summer", which allows you to select young and talented specialists in the group of companies of the Fund. One of the unique features of this program is training in hard-skills and soft-skills from companies such as SAP, Microsoft, Cisco, IBM, and the Corporate University "Samruk-Kazyna".
