"KazTransGas" JSC became an independent portfolio company of "Samruk-Kazyna" JSC. Today, a Government resolution was adopted, and an agreement was signed between "Samruk-Kazyna" JSC and KazMunayGas on the transfer of KazTransGas to the trust management of the "Samruk-Kazyna" JSC.

"Thus, the KazTransGas NC will not only transport gas, but also become a full - fledged National operator in the field of gas and gas supply" Akhmetzhan Yessimov stressed.

Recall that in November last year, at a meeting of the Board of Management of the "Samruk-Kazyna" JSC, the Chairman of the Board, Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev, set the task of withdrawing "KazTransGas" JSC from "KazMunayGas" to the direct subordination of the Fund "Samruk-Kazyna" JSC.

In January of this year, at an expanded meeting of the Government, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev instructed to create a national operator for gas exploration, production and transportation.
